Hello! I wanted to finish this week with one more design from Altenew's "Watercolor Wonders" stamp set. This time, I
also used the Watercolor Wonders die set.
I began by stamping the thank you sentiment from The Stamp Simply Clear "Many Thanks" stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock.
I then used the larger flower and some leaves from the Watercolor Wonders stamp set to stamp directly onto the sentiment panel. The smaller flower and some leaves were stamped onto a separate piece of cardstock, then die cut using the appropriate dies.
The die cut blossom and leaves where then popped up and adhered to the card using Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips. Ink spatters using a paintbrush were added to achieve the "watercolor" look.
Tim Holtz Distress inks used: Abandoned Coral, Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, Mustard Seed, Iced Spruce, and Bundled Sage.
The entire is laid onto a base of Tim Holtz 12 x 12 Distress Coredinations Colorcore Cardstock. I used a bit of sand paper to distress the edges of the pink so that the white core could peek through.
Altenew's Watercolor Wonders makes such quick and easy designs...you can dress them up as little or as much as you would like! Fun to play with too!
All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
