Altenew Painted Poppies CAS

All moved back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan; working on getting those boxes unpacked. I was able to access some of my stamping supplies and wanted to create!

Here is a "CAS--Clean And Simple" design for today. Please note: this is a small and slender measures 3 1/4 X 5 3/4". You can create it using the traditional A2 measurements as well.

To begin, I stamped the "happy" sentiment from Altenew's "Painted Poppy" set using Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto creamy cardstock. I then ran it through my Cuttlebug using Spellbinder's Celebration Embossing Folder in "Framed Canvas." I really enjoy using this embossing folder as it delivers great texture, yet is a subtle pattern. Perfect as a backdrop for so many designs.

The stamp set used here is Altenew's "Painted Poppy." I inked it up using Altenew's Ink Cubes in "Red Sunset" and "Green Fields."

After stamping the flowers and leaf, I die cut them using Altenew's "Painted Poppy" dies and glued them to the embossed panel with Tombow Mono Multi glue. You could also stamp the entire image and sentiment onto cardstock, THEN run it through the Cuttlebug to emboss...that would created an interesting look as well.

The card is layered together with Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips; a May Art's Ivory String bow is the final addition to today's design.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

So very glad to be back with you;
hope that you are enjoying you summer!

Pretty! The Framed Canvas embossing folder gives it a gentle rain appearance.
