Frosty Skates

I really do love this Spellbinder Die D-Lites, "Flakes and Skates." It is so very fun to play with! Plus it has a vintage vibe to it...right up my alley!

I wanted to make a "frosty" card this time around-- FloraCraft Twinklets Diamond Dust helped me out in that regard! A bit of glitter always adds a special touch! I adhered the glitter today using TomBow Mono Multi Glue.

I began with a base of decorator paper: Kaisercraft Christmas Wishes. I did rub the top of the paper with VersaMagic Cloud White Chalk Ink. It lightened the pattern up a bit and added a bit of distress.

A pattern of May Art's 5/8" Crochet Lace provides a border along one side of the design.

The medallion is made using Melissa Frances Neutral Crepe Paper. I simply gathered it with a thread and a needle, then glued it back to the image panel.  The skates were then layered onto the panel, along with a bit of May Art's Silver Metallic String to tie the skates together.

The sentiment is from Stamp Simply Clear "Christmas Blessings," stamped with Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink. It is die cut with Spellbinders JustRite Antique Label Tags One.

Hope you enjoy this frosty design!
All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
