Apple Harvest

It's time to enjoy the fruits of the harvest...the scents and tasty flavor of apple sauce, apple pie, and apple crumble remind us that Thanksgiving is just weeks away. We truly ARE blessed and give thanks!

My card today features Stamp Simply's Clear "Harvest" Stamp set and "Harvest" Steel Die set. One of my favorite stamps in the set are the larger words "Autumn" and "Harvest." Especially with the matching dies...such a crisp and clean look!

I paired the stamp and dies with American Crafts "Farmhouse" 6 x 6" decorator paper today. Fun pad...it has a a page of recipe cards and sentiments that can be cut out. The little recipe card on the front of my card was stamped with a sentiment from Stamp Simply's "Harvest" with Versafine Onyx Black ink and a Tim Holtz Tonic Stamp Platform.  Ranger Glossy Accents add a bit of sheen to the pair of apples on the recipe card.

Square shapes were cut for the background with Spellbinder Classic Square dies. Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue was used to glue the sentiments to the square shapes, with Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips placed beneath the squares for added dimension.

May Art's Burlap String and a button from my stash tie it all together.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks so very much Cynthia! I usually think falling leaves for Fall...not as much apple harvest!
