Three simple cards made with Tim Holtz' "Festive" Layering Stencil and three different colored embossing pastes.
were also used on the cards:
First up: The "Festive" stencil used with Studio 490 Metallic Silver embossing paste. After applying the paste through the stencil with a palette tool (similar one here in this Gelatos KIT), I liberally sprinkled Stampendous Ultra Fine Translucent Crystal Glitter on the wet paste and allowed to dry.
I then stamped the Stamp Simply "Wonders of Christmas Sentiment" onto cardstock with Delicata "Silvery Shimmer" non tarnishing ink and die cut with a Spellbinder Labels One die. The sentiment is popped up on the card with Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips and accented with a jingle bell bow made with May Art's 1.5" White and Silver Sheer with Glitter Dot Ribbon, May Art's Silver Metallic string, and a glittered jingle bell.
Card Two was made using the same stencil, stamp set, and glitter, just in pure, snowy white. The differences: Dreamweavers Embossing Paste in white, White Spectrum Ultra Smooth Noir cardstock, Versafine Onyx Black Ink, JustRite Stitched Oval and Vine die, Original Bow Easy and May Art's 1" Tinsel Edge Ribbon.
I was going for a more rustic look with this last gift package tag made up in kraft cardstock. I used Studio 490 Metallic Gold embossing paste, Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap ink, and Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Glitter for the background, all tied up with some May Art's Natural Burlap String.
