A rustic, grayed down design for you today! I love the Kaisercraft's "Christmas Edition" decorator paper pad...
the gray and cream tones are simply beautiful, yet non traditional.
The background is layers of the "Christmas Edition" papers--the dark gray wood topped with a banner shaped layer, die cut with a JustRite A2 Stitched Banners and Rectangles die.
Stamp Simply's clear "Christmas Blessings" stamp set along with Stamp Simply's Holly Steel die set provides the sentiment and holly leaves for the design. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then die cut with a Spellbinder Classic Oval die. Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips pop the oval for added dimension.
The holly leaves were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink (and a Tonic Tim Holtz stamp platform!) onto Ranger Tim Holtz Watercolor paper, then watercolored with Tim Holtz Distress inks: Iced Spruce, Weathered Wood, Aged Mahogany, and Antique Linen.
A May Art's 1.5" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon poses as a border, along with the same ribbon made into a bow using an Original Bow Easy.
I hope that you have enjoyed today's rustic design. All linked product is from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
