First up: "Graduation Sentiments..."
The base for this design is a combination of Ranger Watercolor paper and black cardstock. If you want a little color in your design, grab some Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks, and dry brush a bit on.
Don't forget to add some color to the inside as well...
The graduation hat and scroll on card below are cut with Cheery Lynn Design Graduation Set dies. The Stamp Simply Graduation Sentiments are stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
The second design is also created from Ranger Watercolor Paper. This time, the main background panel is embossed with Darice Graduation Hats embossing folder.
A border of May Art's black 3/8" velvet ribbon and a bit of Tim Holtz Distress Black Soot glitter add texture to the design.
Stamp Simply's "Scripture for Graduation and Beyond" set provide the sentiments and verse (stamped once again with the Versafine Black Onyx...BEST for sentiment stamping...so clear!).
The inside verse and sentiment...I wish now that I would have stamped the "congratulations" directly on the card, like the verse above it, but the die cut is glued in now...
Tombow Mono Multi Liquid glue was used to glue pieces together; Tombow Mono Aqua Liquid Glue was used to apply the glitter; ScorTape was used to adhere the velvet; and Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips were used for dimension and adhesion.
