Bee Birthday Greetings

Hello--Happy Friday! So glad that you've popped in! I have a birthday design today...one using Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's

I just LOVE the fonts in Stamp Simply stamps...they are varied, but always so very classy! I especially like that the new birthday set is a companion to the original "Birthday Blessings" stamp set, so versatile!

I also LOVE this decorator paper...My Mind's Eye "Gingham Farm." Just glorious! My card is a mix of Gingham Farm, Ranger Watercolor paper, and a light gray cardstock.

What does not show that great in this photo--the Gingham Farm background here is a creamy tone...and looks wonderful IRL with the Ranger Watercolor paper.

The oval die cut is Spellbinder's "Hemstitch Oval." It is not currently in stock, but more are on the way. You can find other oval dies HERE. Loving the Spellbinder's "Laurel and Bee" Die D-Lites dies...I cut them out of the Gingham Farm paper and splashed them with some watered down Dina Wakely Media Gesso to add some interest. The brad is from my collection and also has had a gesso treatment.

The sentiment is from the "Birthday Sentiments" set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and a Tonic Stamp Platform. The Stamp Platform works great, especially stamping on watercolor paper, as it is textured and most times needs to be stamped more than once.

The sentiment is die cut with a Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Fishtail Banner Sentiment" die.

Here is the inside sentiment from the "Birthday Sentiments" stamp set, stamped once again with the Versafine Onyx Black ink and Tonic Stamp Platform.

Adhesives: Scor-Tape, Sakura Quickie Glue Pen, and Thermoweb 3D Foam.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

See you next week with a design using the new cross dies from
The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store!
