Hello; It's Release Week at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store; two new clear stamp sets, "Mercy" and "Grace," as well as a closeup look at the new steel "Crosses" dies.
Here are the two new sets: "Mercy" and "Grace." I do not have these new sets in hand yet, so I used Stamp Simply's "He has Risen" stamp set on my design today.
You've seen these new Stamp Simply "Crosses" dies in the previous post below, they are so very pretty and add so much to a card or bookmark.
The designer paper used today is Kaisercraft's "Charlotte's Dream." I used Ranger Watercolor Paper to die cut the cross. The sentiment panel is die cut with Spellbinder's "Hemstitch Rectangle" dies. Both the cross and image panel are layered over a darker piece of the designer paper, with a bit of rosy color peeking through. Scor-Tape and Sakura Quickie Glue Pen were both used to adhere the layers.
Take a look at the inside of today's cards, also using verses from the older "He has Risen" stamp set. I used Versafine Smokey Gray ink throughout the card, along with a Tonic Stamp Platform.
Closing with a closeup shot of the bow treatment and cross closeup. I used Cameo Beige Seam Binding Ribbon and an Original Bow Easy to create the bow, tutorial for the bow can be found HERE. The top of the cross is glued directly to the bow, and Thermoweb 3D Foam is at the lower end of the cross to give a bit of support. Since the card has quite a bit of dimension, I will present this in a Crystal Clear box.
All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
