Get Well Tulip

Here today with an easy to mail get well card, featuring The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Get Well Tulip" clear stamp set.

It's an easy design using the no line watercolor method to paint the tulip. I began by stamping the tulip onto Ranger Watercolor paper with Tim Holtz Distress Antique Linen ink. The light color of distress ink makes it easy for paint application; it is also water reactive, so the inked edge of the image blends in with the watercoloring.

The base of the card is also made out of the watercolor paper. Darice's "Quatrefoil" embossing folder adds extra texture behind the image panel.

The "get well" sentiment is stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink and die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die cut, trimmed straight on one side.

The inside of the card features a Bible verse from the "Get Well Tulip" stamp set:

A bit of May Art's Ivory Burlap String ties it all together.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I hope that you are all holding up during these trying times.
Thanks for stopping by.
