Graduation 2020 Card

We're showcasing graduation cards this week over at Stamp Simply. Graduation 2020 is just around the corner and with the current situation as is, we need to plan on celebrating the graduates...the best we can. I've put together an easy to mail, full of texture graduation card to do just that.

I began by embossing some creamy cardstock to make for an interesting background. I used Darice's "Graduation Hats" folder, along with a Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder which has two different designs in each folder. The squares are laid out in a grid on a panel of black cardstock, leaving the center square open for the graduation cap accent.

The graduation cap is a die cut from  Cheery Lynn-- "Graduation Set" three times, then glued together with a Sakura Quickie Glue pen. It was also cut a fourth time from black cardstock so that the tassle could be trimmed and used. A Kaisercraft Rhinestone decorates the cap.

The graduation sentiment is from Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's clear "Graduation Sentiments" stamp set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and die cut with a Stamp Simply "Fishtail Banner Sentiment" die. A couple of additional Kaisercraft Rhinestones add a bit of bling to the sentiment tag.

Here's an inside look, also using a sentiment from the "Graduation Sentiments" stamp set:

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Be sure to check out additional designs for graduation that the team has come up with this week!

Thanks for stopping by!
