906 Day!!!

Hello! It's 906 Day here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. "906 Day?" you may ask. The entire Yoop's area code has been 906 for as long as I remember, thus September 6-- 906 Day.

I used Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Upper Peninsula" steel die to cut out layers of cardstock topped with Authentique's "Gracious" decorator paper to emphasize the beautiful colors and fall temperatures that are beginning here. A bit of Tim Holtz Distress Pumice Stone ink is used for a bit of distress on the edges.

I stamped the "906" from Stamp Simply's "Upper Peninsula Yooper" clear stamp set onto cardstock with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink, then die cut it with a Spellbinder Oval Nestabilities die.

It is layered over a background of Authentique "Gracious" paper -- same pad as the leafy print. Great for Autumn! Scor-Tape was used throughout.

You can buy the stamp and dies individually, or as a combo. Stamp Simply also has the Lower Peninsula of Michigan stamps and dies available as well!

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

I hope that you enjoy 906 Day if you are fortunate to be in one of the prettiest places that I know! Have a great Sunday!
