Hello! Here today with a fun to create watercolored die cut. Love playing with paints--just splash some colors onto a die cut, add an interesting, subtle background and a sentiment, and you are ready to go!
Loving this die from Elizabeth Craft Designs..."Strawberries."
Perfect to cut from watercolor paper and shade using your preferred media. I choose Daniel Smith watercolors for my card today.
After the painted die cuts dried, I mounted them onto a background of watercolor paper run through my Spellbinder Platinum machine using Tim Holtz' 3D Texture Fades "Intertwined" embossing folder.
The sentiment if from Stamp Simply's "Fruit Sentiments." Fun, fruity sentiments to fit so many fruits and designs! The sentiment is stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink, then die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die.
I hope that you've enjoyed today's design. I'll be back tomorrow announcing the winner from our Stamp Simply Grand Opening
Blog Hop. See you then!
