Welcome Baby and Beyond!

Hi There! Here today to show you another from Stamp Simply's newest release: "Baby and Beyond" dies and stamp sets! I am so in love with the new onesie dies...so fun to play with --coordinating papers and colors-- and QUICK to make a card if needed at the last minute! The stamp sets are also so great too, love the font choices in both sets. So great to welcome baby, then also commemorate baby's baptism, dedication, and important future events. You can purchase them individually, or as bundles.

Here's my card for today:

I began by die cutting the "Welcome Baby Basics" sweet onesie from Echo Park's "Welcome Easter" paper pad. Fun chicks and rabbits in the pad in all sorts of wonderful colors that work for babies as well as Easter! The little additions with the die set are so cute...I chose the diaper pin to decorate the bib.

After gluing the onesie together with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue, I mounted it on a panel of white cardstock die cut using Spellbinders Hemstitch Oval dies. I laid a piece of yellow print behind the hemstitch to accent the oval.

I paper pieced the background panel with strips of the Echo Park paper for an easy way to add a "quilted" look. Scor-Tape and dimensional tape (Thermoweb 3D Foam) work great adding extra dimension to the card.

Here's the inside, stamped with the Stamp Simply "Welcome Baby" stamp set using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink. I used the die cut "baby" from the die set, along with the cute rattle.

Such a great set! Reminds me of making paper dolls when I was young.

All linked supplies are from Stamp Simply! Make sure to check out the Stamp Simply blog to see all of the wonderful ideas that the gals have come up with using the new sets!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Super cute card! People can even make it to match the nursery colors, too!

I forgot all about paper dolls! I had so much fun with them! I can't imagine children of today using them. They don't know what they are missing!
