Tim Holtz Sale at Stamp Simply!

Stamp Simply is having a sale on Tim Holtz product right now! LOVE the Tim Holtz/Sizzix dies for watercoloring...just add some colors, drying between each layer, and you can have a lovely card to make someone's day! They're also great for small size mixed media projects (thinking stencils and embossing folders here...as well as the dies!).

Here's my card for today. It features "colorize" dies...dies that easily layer up in different colors to create a 3D look. I simply die cut all of the die layers out of watercolor paper at once, then watercolor them with Tim Holtz Distress and Distress Oxide inks. You could also die cut the pieces from different color cardstocks to layer, but I prefer the watercolor method. After the inks dry, be sure to add some spatter then simply glue the layers together!

The base is made up of watercolor paper, along with two Spellbinder Oval Nestabilities layered for interest. A beautifully scripted sentiment from Stamp Simply's "Give Thanks" clear stamp set is stamped with Versafine Claire Acorn ink, then die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die.

A May Art's 1/4" Ivory Silk Ribbon bow ties it all together! The 1/4" ivory silk is great to add color too as well...I have used Copic Sketch markers to color it in the past.

I hope that you have enjoyed seeing today's card, it was fun to create.

All linked supplies come from Stamp Simply!
Be sure to check out their sale!

Hi Deb! This certainly POPS off the page, and with those beautiful autumn colors! I haven't seen 3D images on a card yet. Very cool!

Hope you are well and getting some cooler temperatures up there
