Christmas Gifts

 Merry Christmas from our house to yours! We are still experiencing blizzard conditions; hoping that it will die down before we come together for Christmas dinner tomorrow afternoon. Thankfully we still have power and heat.

I've put together some little 6 x 6" wood panel gifts for some of my family using numerous Tim Holtz products along with some of my paper stash:

This first one uses Tim Holtz Sizzix Cardinal that has been retired. The red bird rests on diecut Tim Holtz Sizzix Holiday Greens Mini thinlet branches. The bird and branches are both colored with Tim Holtz Ranger Distress and Distress Oxide Ink Sprays. The backdrop is a piece of decorator paper from my stash. The cardinal has a bright black jet Kaisercraft Rhinestone eye, difficult to see in the photo.

The two deer panels use the same materials: Tim Holtz Sizzix Darling Deer die set, Tim Holtz Sizzix Treeline die, and Tim Holtz Sizzix Decorative Trims Thinlet dies. Some of the trees are Tim Holtz Idea-ology Cardstock, spritzed with more of the Ranger Distress sprays. The deer are also colored with the Distress and Distress Oxide sprays.

The 6 x 6" wood panels are from Amazon. They're quite fun to do as they are easily decorated, similar to a square card. They can either stand on their own on a shelf, or be hung on the wall.
