Playing once again with my new Kuretake Zig Clean Color Brush Markers. This stamp set is an older set: Altenew's Wild Flora stamp set, sold out. Pretty much any open, line drawn flower stamp would be good for practice. There are numerous pretty floral stamps over at Stamp Simply. The sentiment is also from the Wild Flora stamp set.
I began by stamping the flowers onto watercolor cardstock with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, then proceeded to color them with the Zig markers. I found that layering the colors delivers a better color payoff and that using too much water to spread the ink wore the paper down a bit, even more so than regular watercolors. So, there has been a bit of a learning curve for me.
I'll continue to play and share my outcomes.
Thanks for checking in today!

Hi Deb! This card is lovely. I am crazy about this sentiment! Love it! Is it starting to thaw up there? We hit 88° over the weekend already!
Hey Anonymous...thanks so much! Oh my, 88 sounds great. We still have tons of snow. Spring is promised though!
