Thankful for You

I have a very simple card for you today with minimal stamping, plus it is easy to mail being quite flat.

It features Stamp Simply's Autumn Silhouettes, a lovely stamp set with two different silhouettes--wheat or grass/cattails-- and lovely sentiments.

The weather has been very cool here in our part of Michigan...it really puts me into the mood for Autumn stamping!

I began by stamping the wheat/grass silhouette onto creamy cardstock. I first stamped the golden portion with Ranger Wild Honey Oxide ink, then stamped the stems with Versafine Clair Acorn ink. I added a bit more of the Acorn ink to the edges of the golden portion for added interest. I used a stamp platform which makes for easy stamping and restamping. I then die cut the image with a Spellbinder Rectangle Deckled die; then die cut it once again from kraft cardstock to layer beneath the image panel as a frame. The entire image panel was then layered over a background of decorator paper.

The sentiment from the Autumn Silhouettes stamp set was stamped with the Versafine Claire Acorn ink, then die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die.
