Layered Sunflower

Here's a clean and simple Autumn card for you featuring Stamp Simply's Sunflower Season stamp and die sets along with their Typewritten Year Round Sentiments! The sunflower and bud are popped up with an additional layer, so there is tons of lovely dimension.

I began by stamping the sunflower image twice with Memento Tuxedo Black ink (similar...but Espresso Truffle brownish black). I colored the first image with Copic Sketch markers, then die cut it with the Sunflower Season die. I colored just the sunflower head and bud with the markers, then fussy cut them out. When I was fussy cutting the sunflower head I only cut the center and center petals out, leaving the outer petals behind. After cutting I popped the head and bud up onto the first die cut image with pop dots. I LOVE the dimension that this gives!

The sunflower is layered over a simple background of rustic cream cardstock with the panel embossed with a Darice Wire Fence embossing folder. A frame made up of the same cardstock; die cut four times from an Oval Stitched Flat die...four times then glued together to make a more hefty frame for MORE dimension!

Very clean and simple! All linked products are from Stamp Simply.
