Heat Embossing Tattered Daisy

Good Morning! Here today to show you my exchange card from my last stamping group get together. Our "challenge" was to use heat embossing...something all of us agreed that we do not do often enough! I love how this card turned out!

I began by die cutting the Simon Says Stamp Tattered Daisy die out of watercolor paper, then dropped some watercolors onto it...green stem, just a hint of pink in the centers. I covered the center of the bloom with Versamark ink and gold fine embossing powder, melting it to add extra gleam.

My background panel is stamped with Simon Says Stamp Swiss Dot background stamp set and the Versamark ink, then heat embossed with the gold embossing powder.

The sentiment is part of the Simon Says Swiss Dots background stamp set, also embossed with the gold powder, and die cut with a Simon Says Swiss Dot wafer die.

Fun!!! Pull out some of the products and techniques that you haven't used for awhile and give them some love!

Have a great Wednesday!
