First day back to school was great! It was so good to see the students happy faces...and how much they've grown over the summer months! It's going to be a GREAT year!
This week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge "Tag, You're It" requires a tag to be used in your design...see the challenge HERE.
My design features a vellum pocket card with pullout tag. Pictured above is the sweet My Favorite Things Pure Innocence "Happy Mail" gal all tucked into her pocket.
The tag can be pulled out to be used as a book mark for your favorite young reader...
The Guidelines designer paper, Plum Pudding cardstock and Luxe Satin ribbon, are all from PaperTrey Ink.
The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store), then colored with Copic Sketch markers. Spellbinders Labels Ten (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) were used to die cut the image panel to create a tag.
Oh...and a Bow Easy, also from the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, was used to make that oh so pretty bow to pull the tag!
Deb, this is so sweet and pretty! Love the vellum pocket with bookmark tag idea and the pretty plum. Can you believe summer is coming to a close already?
ReplyDeletePretty card! I love the vellum idea!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Great idea for a young reader. Love your papers and ribbon too. TFS!
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! This is just gorgeous! I absolutely adore your vellum pocket card with that sweet pull out tag! And I love the colors and papers you used. I usually have a hard time with purple, but this is totally calling to me. Stunning work! Thanks for sharing with us at TSTR.

ReplyDeleteOh my, Deb, this is soooo clever and adorable!! I {heart} those PI girlies!! Thanks for sharing with us in the Tea Room :)
ReplyDeleteJust darling! I love the idea of the vellum pocket - your tag is too pretty to hide! Thanks for joining us this week at TSTR! :)
ReplyDeleteHello again!
ReplyDeleteI love all of this purple! Especially the shade of the ribbon! Beautiful! This card is perfect for a card maker to send out, or use for Valentine's Day for a niece or someone!
The vellum pocket is a great way to send this book mark...or card...or whatever you want it to be. It would be cute for a new address if someone moved, too. Addie on the back.

I've been thinking and praying about and for you all week! I hope you are loving life!
