This hop is for all of you loyal blog readers out there! Thank you for taking the time to regularly visit my blog (and others!) for inspiration!
Each participating blog in the hop has some sort of giveaway gift for someone...check out each post carefully to see what you need to comment on to possibly be chosen as the recipient.
My design for today:
I'm a big fan of vintage and shabby papercraft (although I do have a streak of CAS in me as well!) I love textures, muted colors, and an old fashioned feel. I'm happiest creating pieces that are based on just that...such as today's design.
I used Spellbinders M Bossabilities Embossing Folder in "Mystic" rubbing white craft ink on the folder before embossing the kraft cardstock panel with my Cuttle Bug, letterpress style.
Next layer: A Petaloo Paper Doily, once again distressed with a bit of white ink.
My bouquet is made up of Petaloo Botanica Minis, along with a Spellbinders Die D-Lites "Sprigs" leafy branch with edges sponged with Tim Holtz Crushed Olive Distress Ink. A Seam Binding bow (tutorial HERE) made with a Bow Easy is accented by Maya Road Vintage Leaves pins.
