Finally Back and Ready to Go!

Hello All:

So glad to be back after our big move {home!} to the United States from Swaziland. We miss our colleagues and friends back in Africa (plus the gorgeous, hard to beat climate), but are happy to be settling back into life Stateside. We have especially enjoyed the opportunity to spend time with our family...

along with our  precious grandson and granddaughter!

Oh, the joys and blessings of being grandparents! LOVE these two!

Okay, onto today's post: Since I am just catching the end of the lovely Autumn season, here is a design featuring one of my favorite decorator paper pads from this past season: Graphic 45's "Time to Flourish 8 x 8" Classic."

My heart pitter-pats for botanical designs and this pad has beautiful prints for each month of the year...there is also a separate pad that features a calendar page for each month as well. Check out all of the "Time to Flourish" items HERE.

I layered the dp pieces onto each other using Scor-tape1/4" tape and Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips. Each of the monthly designs in the paper pad has great matching cutouts...some you can see here--stamp border, ticket, "pumpkin time" sentiment. I've simply taped and popped up the cutouts to add interest and dimension to the background panel. Quick!

Final touch: a Candy Gem Rootbeer  beaded accent.

All supplies for today's design are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks so much for joining me today; I hope to be able to create and post more often than I had...

See you soon!

Welcome back...hope you are enjoying a colorful fall. The weather in Iowa is turning on us. The high winds and cold temps today has put me in the mood for soup and necessary time in my crafty space. Adorable little grandkids. Mine move around about as much as you do. In the Virginia area now so at least we can see them once in a great while. Thank goodness for Skype.
Your card and the supplies are awesome. Have a lovely week.

Welcome home Deb, we're happy you're back. The pictures of your grandkids are magazine quality . . . they are so adorable, I don't need to tell you how blessed you are. The card is over-the-top gorgeous! So thrilled to see you back in action. Hugs!!!
