Vintage Tulip

Since I tried the "No Line Coloring" technique last time with this tulip, I wanted to stamp and color a more traditional way this time around using Copic Sketch Markers and a bit of Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink.

I began by layering up the base of the card using decorator paper from Kaisercraft's "Art of Life" paper pad. A crossed border of Venise 1/2" Katerina Lace adds a bit of interest along with a May Art's 1/4" Silk Ribbon Bow (made with an Original Bow Easy). A small charm (similar here and here) was added with May Art's Burlap String.  The word "Tulip" is also from the Stamp Simply Clear Get Well Tulip set, and cut with one of the dies from the Stamp Simply Steel Tulip Die set0.

Here's the inside Bible verse from the Stamp Simply Clear "Never Fear" stamp set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Versafine inks are fabulous for stamping sentiments...they give such crisp, clear results.
