No Line Watercolor

Had some fun today with some "No Line Watercoloring."

Debby Hughes from the Lime Doodle Design blog has been a huge inspiration to me, love her video tutorials on You Tube and gorgeous paper craft work and photography on her blog.
Be sure to check out her blog and You Tube channel.

This lovely image and die are from Simon Says Stamp, "Beautiful Flowers." This image has been a favorite since it came out...love the blooms, mix of greens, and pretty rosehips.

I began by stamping the image on watercolor paper with Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink with a Tonic Stamp Platform. Zig Kuretake watercolors were used to paint the image. The matching die from Simon Says was used to die cut the painted image; it was then popped up on the watercolor base with foam strips.

I'm pretty happy with the results. It was fun and relaxing and I plan on practicing more no line watercoloring in the future.

Thanks for much for stopping by! Have a good upcoming week!
