Here with an easy to mail Easter card design. Since I am living overseas, many of my cards are sent back to the States...
thus the desire to create cards that are flat and
cost the price of one regular stamp.
Today's design features Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's new steel "Crosses" die. I love the shape and embossing on these new dies, especially the larger one, shown here.
I die cut my cross from Ranger Watercolor paper. It lends more texture to the design than regular cardstock. A bit of Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink was rubbed on with my fingertip, then a bit of water spatter added for distressing.
The base of the card is covered with the lovely Graphic 45 "Flutter" designer paper. You can find the entire "Flutter" line up HERE. The oval is die cut from vellum using Spellbinder's Hemstitch Oval die.
Here is the inside of the card using a sentiment from Stamp Simply's "Easter" clear stamp set, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink and a Tonic Stamp Platform.
Flat for mailing, yet colorful to put a smile on the recipient's face.
All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
Glad that you were able to stop by today; have a great weekend!
