Faded Coneflower

A very monochromatic card for today's design...it features Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Thank you for Caring Coneflower" clear stamp set. There is also a die that will cut out the coneflower available, but I chose not to use it today.

The decorator paper that is used is Kaisercraft's "Pen and Ink." The colors are neutral and muted, but with very special vintage prints.

The base of the card is covered with the "Pen and Ink" paper layers, along with borders of May Art's printed 3/4" "Bee" Canvas Ribbon and 1/4" Crochet Lace trims.

I stamped both the coneflower and Bible verse on the image panel with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink onto Ranger Watercolor paper. I "loosely" watercolored it with Tim Holtz Distress Oxides inks.  Spatters of distress oxide ink was also added for the distress factor. A couple of brads from my stash were added to two corners to bring more texture in.

All the supplies linked are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Have a great weekend!
