So excited to be coming to you today with a new mini release from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store-- "Upper Peninsula" clear stamp set and "Upper Peninsula" steel die.
This is a set so close to my heart, as I shared in a sneak peek previous post, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan is where I was born, raised, and am living in once again. So thrilled to be "home."
My sneak peek posted last week. You can read all about it HERE.
A new design, using both the "Upper Peninsula" stamp set and die:
This was a fairly easy card to make up. I began by stamping the "Upper Peninsula" onto Ranger Watercolor paper, then proceeded to watercolor it with Tim Holtz Distress and Distress Oxide inks. You can also see the little red heart from the stamp set marking the area where I am from.
I die cut the stamped image, then die cut four more of the same die shape to glue together (Tombow Mono Multi Glue) to create some fabulous dimension. I love doing this as it really makes the image POP! The thickness actually reminded me of a puzzle piece here.
The base of the card is brown card stock, with a panel of burlap, and accented with a border of May Art's Burlap String.
All product is from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. If you are a Yooper, Yooper at Heart, or have a Yooper stamping friend, this would be a perfect Christmas or birthday gift!
