What a fun and pretty 5 x 7" wedding card to create using Altenew's "Peony Dream 3D Die Set" (currently sold out but you can sign up for a restock email), and Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Wedding Wishes" clear stamp set.
The fun comes in with making up the flowers using the Altenew dies using watercolor paper and a mix of Prima water colors and Tim Holtz Distress inks.
I began by watercoloring a full sheet of watercolor paper using colors that I love, applying washes of color across the sheet. After the paint dried, I cut the shapes of the flowers out using the dies. Next time I will plan to cut the die shapes out of the card stock, then watercolor each individual piece.
After building the flowers using a Sakura Quickie Glue pen, I spattered them with some Windsor and Newton White Gouache.
The "Wedding Wishes" sentiment was stamped on vellum with Versamark watermark ink pad, then heat embossed with Ranger Super Fine Embossing powder in white.
Thanks for taking a look at this pretty and easy to mail design!
