Poinsettia Week at Stamp Simply

 

Hello! Welcome to Poinsettia Week over at the Stamp Simply. The gals there have teamed up to create a week filled with our favorite Christmas flower, using stamps from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store! I hope that you take a chance to go and check out all of the posts after you finish here.

My design features Stamp Simply's "Floral Cluster Winter Poinsettia" clear stamp and die sets, along with a sentiment from their "Christmas Peace" stamp set.

I began by stamping the floral cluster onto cardstock using Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then proceeded to Copic Sketch marker color it. The image was then cut out with Stamp Simply's "Floral Cluster and Sprigs" die. Fantastic that this one die cuts floral clusters for three additional stamp sets--four in total--one for each season of the year. Plus it comes with additional leafy sprigs...great to add to a floral design.

I stamped the sentiment with the rich cocoa ink, then die cut it with a Spellbinder Classic Oval Nestabilities die.

The floral image and sentiment are layered over a background of Craft Consortium "Festive Flora" decorator paper.  BEAUTIFUL prints in this pad...will go great for all Christmas cards and especially poinsettia designs! All layers were adhered with Scor-Tape. 

Simple and flat--so easy to mail.
