Silver Silent Night

Hello! I'm here today with a clean and simple, plus easy to mass produce Christmas design featuring Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's "Merry Christmas" stamp and "Merry Christmas Star" die sets.

Just a bit of die cutting, heat embossing, and layering can give you a pretty design that borders on elegant.

I began by stamping the die from the "Merry Christmas" clear stamp set with Versafine Smokey Gray ink (you can also use Versamark Watermark ink) onto a very light gray cardstock. I heat embossed it using Ranger Super Fine Embossing Powder in silver, then die cut it with the "Merry Christmas Star" die. I die cut a second star and glued the two together for a bit of heft. A Kaisercraft silver rhinestone adds a touch of sparkle.

After preparing the star, I die cut two Spellbinder Nestabilities Classic Oval shapes to created a "frame" for the star.    The star was then mounted onto the oval with dimensional tape (Thermoweb 3D Foam). The silvery cardstock that was used is Bazzill's Mirror Cardstock in silver.

The base of the card is layers of the cardstock and mirrored cardstock, with the sentiment from the "Merry Christmas" set heat embossed in silver on the top layer. Scor-Tape was used throughout the design.

Here's the inside of the card with a Bible verse from the "Merry Christmas" stamp set.
