Cherry Blossoms

Hello! Here today with some floral loveliness. If you stop by often you know that florals are some of my very favorite images to work with--I love coloring or painting them, and simply enjoy their beauty!

Today's design is courtesy of a Stampin' Up stamp set--"Forever Blossoms."  There are dies that also match this set, which make it quite versatile.

The lovely sentiment here is from the same Forever Blossoms set, stamped with Versafine Vintage Sepia Ink and die cut with a Stamp Simply Ribbon Store Fishtail Banner Sentiment die.

I began by stamping the cherry blossom image with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then Copic colored the blooms. Simple coloring as the image is detailed and has a bit of shading built right in.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut, then layered over the image panel attached to a Stampin' Up cardstock base...easy!

A bit of dimensional tape and Scor-Tape is used throughout the design.

Thanks so very much for stopping by; I hope that you have a wonderful remainder to your weekend and a good start to the week ahead!

Hi Deb! I love this simple yet beautiful card! Cherry blossoms are some of my favorite flowers after
the beauty of irises and the smell of gardenias! This sentiment is especially perfect considering how people are staying home and not seeing each other. Praying you and your family are well!

Traci Starkweather
