Easter Bouquet

Hello! Here today with a springtime Easter design featuring stamps and products from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Winter is still with us in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...it will be months until we see greenery, so we need to make some of our own!

I'm loving the new Tim Holtz/Sizzix Funky Nature dies available at Stamp Simply. They are so easy to create using watercolor paper. You can also die cut the shapes from colored cardstock pieces.

I've run the dies through my die cutting machine using Ranger Watercolor paper. Instead of popping the die cuts immediately out from the paper panel, I watercolored them with numerous Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks and let them dry. After the ink dried, I popped out the die cut shapes and touched up or added paint to areas that I thought required a bit more attention. A spatter of Windsor & Newton white gouache adds extra appeal and distress to the "bouquet."

The entire bouquet is glued into place with Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue over a backdrop of a watercolor paper oval, cut with a Spellbinder Classic Oval Nestability die.

A seam binding ribbon bow was created with an Original Bow Easy and adhered to the card with a dab of glue. Both Scor-Tape and Thermoweb 3D Foam were used throughout the design.

All linked product is available at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks for stopping by--be sure to add a little Springtime to your day with your card creations! Have a great weekend.
