Easter is for Jesus

Hello! Here today with a shaped springtime bunny card using

I began the card by creating the base. I die cut a piece of folded Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth White Cardstock with just the largest oval from the Spellbinders Hemstitch Oval die set. Make certain to leave a small space at the top of the fold so that you do not cut an entire oval...you want a hinge left at top.

I then cut the Spellbinder Hemstitch Oval die from a piece of Graphic 45 "Woodlands Friends" decorator paper and adhered it to the oval white cardstock base.

The eggs and bunny from the "Easter is for Jesus" stamp set are stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and Copic Sketch Marker colored. They are then die cut with the "Easter is for Jesus" dies. I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the eggs and the bunny's eyes and nose.

Here's the inside of the card, with a special message, one that I hold dear:

The inside base is created in the same manner as the front, and the "Jesus is for Easter" cross is stamped, die cut, and glued into place. The sign on the cross is stamped with a sentiment from the set with VersaFine Claire Fallen Leaves ink, die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die, and glued into place on each end with a small piece of dimensional tape in the center.

The sentiments from the stamp set are stamped with the VersaFine Claire ink.

A Seam Binding Ribbon Bow (tutorial HERE, using the Original Bow Easy) adds the final accent for the design. Scor-Tape and Mono Multi Liquid Glue were used throughout.

All linked supplies are from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Thanks for stopping by.
