I began making a base for the card using Tim Holtz' "Flowery" thinklet background die. Love this die as one cut through cardstock and you have the beginnings of an quick and easy background. Simply glue it to a base card and you're set! The die cut blooms add so much texture to a background, even while keeping with a monochromatic color scheme.
I stamped the sentiment from the "Baptism--and More" stamp set onto a Spellbinder Rectangle die cut using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. A die cut cross from Stamp Simply's steel "Crosses" die set is cut three times and glued together with Tombow Mono Multi Glue for dimension, then layered onto the rectangle panel. A simple Kaisercraft Pearl adds a bit of bling. EASY, yet classy. Scor-Tape was used to adhere layers.

Such a beautiful and memorable card, Deb! I'm glad you listed the adhesive you used between the layers! I'd like to case this layout...and I'd go crazy trying to get the top layer to adhere to the next! I love this!
