Good News

Hello: my card for today features Stamp Simply's Angels Among Us stamp and die sets. This set has a lovely angel along with numerous Bible verses and sentiments for the Christmas season.

The angel is stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink (similar), then colored with Copic Markers. The sentiment panel is die cut with a Spellbinder Oval die.

The designer paper is Echo Park's The First Noel. Glitter adds a shiny accent although does not show up very well in the photo.

Warmth of the Season

Welcome! As the weather continues to chill, here's a card to warm you up! It features Stamp Simply's Christmas Stockings and Mittens stamp and die sets.

I decided that I wanted to use dies today to create a monochromatic background for my main focal point...a great way to add a bit of interest and texture. I used the snowflake die from the Christmas Stockings and Mittens die set to do so. The mitten pieces were die cut from the neutral cardstock with the same die set.

The very base of the card is covered with Craft Consortium's Tartan decorator paper, along with the oval and snowflakes on mittens.  The sentiment from the Christmas Stockings and Mittens stamp set is stamped with Versafine Clair Bluebell ink, then die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Sentiment Banner die.

Fun and easy!

49 and Market Rub Ons!

I have discovered rub-ons! These are not your rub-ons of old...they are from 49 and Market from Scrapbook.com. Beautiful images, easy to use--just gorgeous! So quick to make up a pretty card at the last minute.

I simply chose which image from 49 and Market's Moonlit Garden 12 x 12" sheet  and adhered it to a piece of rustic cream cardstock. I distressed the edges then attached it to a card base.

You will see more rub-ons in the future here in the future.

Reindeer Joy

I've got a fairly simple Christmas card for you today; minimal stamping along with holiday decorator paper makes for a quick make.

Stamp Simply's Farmhouse Christmas stamp set is the star here along with die cuts.

I began by stamping the reindeer from the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set onto white cardstock with Versafine Clair Acorn ink. It was then die cut with a Spellbinder Oval die (similar).

Twigs were die cut using Stamp Simply's Vintage Oval and Twigs dies, colored with Copic Sketch markers. Ranger Glossy Accents are on the berries for added shine.

Hello! I'm participating in the Coffee Lover's Fall and Winter Blog Hop today...such a fun event! My card has an autumnal bent to it with the subtle fall colors. It features product from the Stamp Simply Store: Have a Cup on Us stamp and die sets and Stamp Simply Coffee or Tea decorator paper!

If you are a coffee/tea/hot cocoa lover; be certain to check out all of the inspiration at the hop. Even better...participate and be in the running for some fabulous prizes! Stamp Simply is a Super Sponsor once again.

It really is an easy card to make! I stamped the three types of coffee cups with from the Have a Cup on Us stamp set with Versafine Clair Acorn ink onto the Stamp Simply decorator paper, then die cut.

The sentiment from the Have a Cup on Us stamp set was also stamped with the Acorn ink, then die cut with Spellbinder Circle dies. The tails on the sentiment were cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Sentiment Banner die. Fun!

It's all layered up on a background of the Stamp Simply Coffee or Tea paper and a base of Stampin' Up Copper Clay cardstock.

Clean and Simple Christmas!

Hello! Starting to plan for Christmas cards, beginning with this CAS   --clean and simple-- design using Stamp Simply Vintage Christmas Images stamp and die sets. I've also added in Stamp Simply Vintage Oval and Twig dies and their Fishtail Sentiment Banner dies.

I stamped the bells from the Vintage Christmas Images using Memento Rich Cocoa ink (similar) then colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. They were then die cut Vintage Christmas Images die. The Vintage Twigs were die cut from card stock, then colored with Copics.

A plaid banner of Carta Bella A Wonderful Christmas decorator paper was die cut with a Stamp Simply Sentiment Banner die to make a base layer for the bells. The base is simple a rustic cream cardstock.

A coat of Ranger Glossy Accents on the bells and berries add a gleaming finish.

Here's a look at the sentiment inside of the card:

All in all, clean and simple! You could easily mass produce this design by breaking up the steps into numerous sessions: cut the cardstock bases; stamp and color the image; die cut all of the die pieces; color the twigs; put it all together!

Abundantly

Welcome! I have a quick and easy to mail card for you today, featuring Stamp Simply's Autumn Blessings stamp set

Although I have only used the stamp set today; there is also a die set that coordinates with the stamp set. The Stamp Simply sets are available as a bundle or individually.

Let me tell you about my card:

I began by spritzing watercolor paper with a fine mist of water, then added Tim Holtz Ranger's Distress and Distress Oxide Sprays. I've always enjoyed using the Distress sprays...they really give great color payoff as well as fun to see the results of the mixes.

After allowing the sprays to dry, I simply stamped the Bible verse and wheat sheaf directly onto the panel with Versafine Clair Acorn ink. Layers of cardstock make up the base.

The lengthiest portion of making this card is letting the ink dry!

I hope that you get a chance to get creative this weekend!

Enjoy Autumn's Blessings!
