Vintage Floral Sympathy

Our Stamp Simply Challenge (ssnotime128) for today is to create a sympathy card. I decided to head in a distressed, yet feminine, direction.

The beautiful designer paper layers are K & Company "ancestry.com." I purchased my 12 X 12" pad from Michael's...if you come across these papers, be sure to take a second look!...they are one of my all time favorite K & Company paper combos!

I layered the dp over PaperTrey Ink Rustic Cream cardstock, distressing the edges of the main panel heavily with a Stampin' Up Cutter Kit.

The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread design's "With Heartfelt Sympathy," stamped with Versafine Black Onyx ink. The lovely Berry Juliette Prima is also from Our Daily Bread designs.
The final feminine addition is May Art's Ivory Crochet Lace, available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.
The rest of the Stamp Simply DT would love to have you stop by and view their creations:

Another inspiring design using color on a sympathy card, which I always find so challenging but you have showcased perfectly how it can be done!
