Stamp Simply Falling Leaves
Falling Leaves...today's Stamp Simply Challenge (ssnotime155)! We're celebrating Autumn today! It's a rainy day here in the Upper Peninsula, and some of the leaves are beginning their colorful change. My design also fits today's Splitcoaststamper's Free for All Challenge: to use birds in your design.
KaiserCraft's "Peachy Keen Collection" (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) is the perfect paper for today's project...the mellow colors, along with leafy prints, just FIT!
Another perfect "fit" is JustRite's new "Backyard Birds Set" (also available at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) which includes four different bird images and borders...suitable for the four seasons. I've used the Autumn border today, along with the bird and thistle.
Memento Rich Cocoa ink Stamp Simply Ribbon store) and Copic Sketch markers were used to color the image.
Spellbinder Classic Circle dies (Stamp Simply Ribbon Store) were used to die cut the image panel and borders.

What a FUN autumn card! Using that paper never crossed my mind, but it IS perfect and I LOVE your colored JustRite image -- PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! I know how pretty fall can be in Michigan, it's my home state. Don't you love the smell of leaves burning? I miss that! Can't wait to see color change here, I'm afraid it'll be another month yet. Enjoy your day...!
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful, Deb! LOVE that great mix of patterned paper and those gorgeous stamps! Love at first sight!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful card-love the JustRite image-so pretty.
ReplyDeleteDear Deb~
ReplyDeleteI love how you color this set! I think it looks so much like China Plates with the round borders!
I love the combo of design paper you used to go with those beautifully colored leaves and the bird and thistle you used together.
Just wonderful! I wish the leaves would change into the colors I miss so much from Connecticut! They just go from green to brown here!
I believe this may be my favorite "non-religious" stamp set! I can't wait until the time, when I can order it!
