Stamp Simply Silk Ribbon--Color Charts, Sampler Packs and Blog Candy!

"May Arts Silk Ribbon has been a long time favorite product here at The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store and I don’t think that’s been any secret! We know many of you love using silk ribbon as well, and to make it a bit easier in color selection and to take the guess-work out of it, Michelle has prepared a color chart for us to use, comparing May Arts Silk Ribbon colors to both Stampin’ Up cardstock colors and A Muse Studios cardstock colors. I think you’ll enjoy these color charts and find them very useful. Thank you so much, Michelle, for your time and effort in this project!

Let’s begin with the color charts:

Here's my design using the May Art's Champagne Ribbon from the Pink Sampler Pack:

I began my design using Prima's "Songbird" decorator paper.  Love the sweet birds on a branch...just perfect for stamping JustRite's "Amazing Paper Grace Clear Just the Right Words" sentiment directly onto the decorator paper panel using Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

A bit of "Melissa Frances Lace Trim in Cream", studded with some Kaisercraft Champagne Pearls, adds a lacy border.

Last, but not least, the beautiful silk bow, tied with a Bow Easy, and decorated with a Webster's Pages"Vintage Sparklers Button".

In celebration of our Silk Ribbon Color Charts and to share our love of Silk Ribbon, BLOG CANDY will be available from EACH blog participating today. Each designer selected one Silk Ribbon Sampler (my pink one shown above) to give away and all you have to do is comment on the blogs. Each designer will pick their winner using a random number generator on Wednesday evening at 9 p.m EST.
