New Altenew!

Exciting News: The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is now

These stamp sets are beautiful!
Loving the flower sets especially so!

I've used Altenew's "Watercolor Wonders" set here, along with one of my favorite sentiments from The Stamp Simply Clear "Blessings/Beatitudes 1."

Many of Altenew stamp sets require layered stamping. They are clear stamps, and include charts either online or the package to assist with lining up. Many of the sets have matching dies, making cutting quick and easy.

Watercolor Wonders is a perfect set to create a one layer design (though I've added a couple extra layers in to make it more elegant using Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips). Watercolor Wonders also has matching dies, so you have many options and do not have to stick to single layer stamping.

I began by stamping the Stamp Simply sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. Stamp you sentiment first so that you don't have a mistake at the end (spoken from experience here Ladies...ha). The flowers were then stamped with Altenew's "Four Scoop" ink cube set. I used Tim Holtz Distress inks in Shabby Shutters and Forest Moss for the leaves as I do not yet have the Altenew green inks.  Many of the Tim Holtz Distress inks are now marked down.

Last touch: some of the ink with water and a paintbrush to add spatters for extra interest.

Simple, classy, and easy to mail!

Make certain that you check out the Stamp Simply blog this week as Altenew products are being showcased daily by the design team.
