Stamp Simply Spring Release Blog Hop

It's an exciting time at the Stamp Simply Ribbon Store--Sharon has released four new stamps sets--two floral sets and two sentiment sets, along with dies to match the floral sets!

To celebrate the release, our design team over at Stamp Simply is participating in a hop today...please hop through the list and see all that we have designed using the new sets. The hop list is at the end of this post.

My design features the Stamp Simply Clear "Thinking of You Rose" set and matching Stamp Simply Steel "Rose" dies. The card's inner verse is a Bible verse from the Stamp Simply Clear "Words of Encouragement" set.

The rose was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored with Copic Sketch Markers. It was then die cut using the newly released matching die. The word "rose" was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink, then die cut with the matching die.

Spellbinder Classic Oval dies were used to create an oval highlight panel for the die cut rose to rest upon. Thermoweb 3D Foam Strips were used for dimension.

The decorator paper used is Kaisercraft's "Mademoiselle." May Art 1.5" Tulle Ribbon and a Melissa Frances Pearl add the final touch.

Take a look at the inside verse from the Stamp Simply Clear "Words of Encouragement..."

Here's a closeup look at both of the stamp sets and die set that I used. All of the Stamp Simply Clear sets can be used together. The beautiful fonts on the Bible verse and sentiments complement the images in many of the different sets. All add an elegant touch.

All linked product is from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store.

Also, Darsie Bruno has kindly made a video for using the new sets along with dies. You can view it here:
