Time for the Spring and Summer Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!
I'm adding my first card a few days into the hop,
but better late than never!
The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store is once again a Super Sponsor of the hop...be certain to play along for the possibility to win prizes.
My card for the hop features Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's new "Java" steel die along with their "Cup of Java" stamp set. I also used a favorite Stamp Simply die set, "Coffee or Tea?"
The decorator paper used in my project today is Echo Park "Coffee" Decorator Paper. Loving the cheerful prints and florals in this pad, perfect for a springtime coffee design.
Just to note: I cut the "Java" die out three times, twice with watercolor paper and once with the decorator paper. I really wanted it to stand out nicely and the layers makes it extra thick. I used a Sakura Quickie glue pen to glue the layers together. Other adhesives used: Scor-Tape and Thermoweb 3D Foam pieces.
The additional sentiment from the "Cup of Java" stamp set is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Here's a pic of the inside of the card:
This design measures 5 x 5 inches. Fun "Cup of Java" sentiments that coordinate wonderfully with the "Coffee or Tea?" stamp and die sets.
