Stamp Simply Release--Lower Peninsula of Michigan

Hello once again, and welcome to another design featuring Stamp Simply Ribbon Store's new Lower Michigan Mini Release. You can see the new stamps here:

They coordinate wonderfully with the previously released "Upper Peninsula" stamp and"Upper Peninsula" steel die sets. Here is the complete Michigan series that are available either individually or in various bundles.

My card for today is actually a combo; it can act as a greeting and also as a sign, as it is 6 x 6" and has a stand on the back of it. It combines both the Upper and Lower Peninsula die sets, as well as both Upper Peninsula and Lower Peninsula clear stamp sets.

The decorator paper used here is Echo Park's "Little Lumber Jack." It is layered over a light weight cardboard that makes a sturdy base to act as a stand up sign. Great decorator paper for these northern designs!

Both peninsulas were die cut from the decorator paper, then layered upon additional matching die cuts of card stock and glued together. This creates a bit more dimension and interest to the design.

The sentiments were stamped from the "Upper Peninsula" and "Lower Peninsula" stamp sets with Versafine Onyx Black ink onto white cardstock. They were then die cut with a Stamp Simply Fishtail Banner Sentiment die, and Spellbinder's Classic Long Rectangle and Classic Oval dies. Scor-Tape was used throughout.

Here's a pic of the "sign" standing up, perfect for a shelf or desktop, reminding folks of "HOME."
