Pastor Appreciation Card

Here today with a 5 x 7" card that I created for our Pastor Appreciation Sunday. Our church typically combines Pastor Appreciation Sunday with a Harvest Dinner.

The inner card sentiments shown below are from Stamp Simply. They have a couple of Pastor/Ministry Appreciation stamp sets with lovely sentiments/Bible verses. 

The die cuts on the image panel of the card are Stampin' Up's "Christmas Pinecone Dies." This is a two layer die, which I cut from watercolor paper. After cutting, I watercolored the two layers with the bottom layer in deeper, darker colors. I glued the two layers together with Ranger Multi Media Matte glue, then spattered it with watered down Windsor and Newton White Gouache paint.

The pinecones and greens were then glued onto a watercolor panel that was line embossed on the edges...pretty much impossible to see in the pics, but a nice addition IRL. The panel was popped onto a watercolor base card with dimensional tape.

Here's the inside panel, stamped with Versafine Claire Acorn Ink. Love the mix of fonts on these Stamp Simply "Pastor and Ministry Appreciation Greetings" Bibles verses.
