Be Kind Vivid Card

Hi there! Here today with a vivid card using Stamp Simply's Caring Coneflower stamp and die sets. The vivid comes from Craft Consortium's Ink Drop Vivid decorator paper as well as new Zig Kuretake Clean Brush Markers for watercoloring. Take a look:

It's a fairly simple card, layering the Vivid Inkdrop paper as a base and also as a framed long rectangle for the coneflower to sit upon. The Ephesians 4:32 Bible verse is stamped directly onto the base layer with Versafine Black Onyx ink.

The coneflower was stamped with the Versafine Black Onyx ink then watercolored with the Kuretake Markers, die cut, and mounted with dimensional foam tape onto the long rectangle "frame."

Easy to make and mail!

He Lives Clean and Simple Card

Hello! I have a clean and simple to make Easter card for you today featuring Stamp Simply's He Lives stamp and die sets.

Just a bit of Copic coloring with a decorator paper background; sentiment stamped directly onto the background!

I do so love all of Stamp Simply's flower and die sets...they are so easy to color and if you don't like coloring they are wonderful to paper piece! Check them all out HERE.

I began by stamping the daffodils with Memento Tuxedo Black ink (my fave for Copic coloring!), then proceeded to use Copic Sketch markers to color them. The He Lives die makes for such a great finish to the blooms.

The daffodils are then popped up onto a backdrop of blue gingham from Echo Park's My Favorite Easter decorator paper.

The sentiments are from the He Lives stamp set, stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink (great for detailed stamping!). I used a corner rounder punch to add a bit of interest to this easy to make and mail card.

The He Lives stamp and die sets are available to purchase individually or as a bundle.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Easter Card and Valentine Sale

Happy Valentine's Day! Here with an Easter card for today, but also notice of a sweet Valentine's Day sale over at Stamp Simply!

My card for today features Stamp Simply's Crosses die set as well as their Grace stamp set. Both make for a quick and easy card that is easy to mail.

The card is made up of Echo Park's My Favorite Easter decorator paper along with some vellum. The vellum is layered in the background layers as well as behind the cross, cut with an oval die.

The cross die cuts and lightly embosses the cardstock. I cut the cross three times and glued together for a more substantial thickness.

Let's take a look at the inside: the sentiment from the Stamp Simply Grace stamp set is stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. A strip of designer paper adds an extra touch.

Floral Tag

I have a simple and sweet floral wreath tag for you today; perfect for adding to a bouquet of Spring flowers or gift bag. It features Stamp Simply's Seasonal Wreaths--Spring and Summer stamp and die sets.

I began with some Tim Holtz Watercolor Cardstock. I die cut the tag shape with a Tim Holtz Sizzix Tag Collection die, then spritzed it with some Ranger Tim Holtz Distress and Distress Oxide Spray inks.

While the tag dried, I stamped the wreath and rose shape onto the watercolor paper with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, then colored it with Copic Sketch Markers. The wreath and rose shape were then cut with the matching die from the Seasonal Wreath Spring and Summer die set.

The sentiment from the Seasonal Wreath Spring and Summer stamp set was stamped with the ink.

A lovely bow of May Art Silk (50% off!) was the final touch.

Love You Rose Valentine

Another Valentine for you! I really love Stamp Simply's Thinking of You Rose stamp and die set...it's so versatile for different occasions. I love it paired here with Carta Bella's My Valentine decorator paper for a sweet Valentine.

Let's talk about the paper pieced rose first. I stamped the rose onto white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and also stamped it on a piece of the decorator paper. After coloring the stem of the rose on the white cardstock with Copics, I die cut it with the Thinking of You Rose die. I then fussy cut the rose head from the decorator paper and glued it into place onto the white die cut rose. Love paper piecing in this manner!

A May Art's 1/4" silk bow (50% off !) tops things off.
